Ingredients
- 1 large can pineapple rings, drained
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 c. melted oleo
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts (if desired)
Method
- Grease a 9 x 13-inch glass baking pan.
- Spread pineapple rings over the bottom of baking pan.
- Pour pie filling over pineapple and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle dry cake mix over filling.
- Pour melted oleo over cake mix.
- Top with chopped nuts (if desired). Bake at 350° for 45 minutes, or until evenly browned.
- Serve as is, or with whipped cream, Cool Whip or ice cream.
