Ingredients
- 1 large can crushed pineapple
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 1 pkg. dry cake mix (yellow or white)
- 2 sticks margarine or butter
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Grease and flour a large 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Spread 1 large can crushed pineapple over bottom of pan.
- Cover with 1 can cherry pie filling.
- Sprinkle 1 package dry cake mix (yellow or white) on top.
- Melt 2 sticks of margarine or butter and pour over cake. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup chopped nuts.
- Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. (Check cake for doneness.)
