Ingredients
- 1 gal. vinegar
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. pickling salt
- 1 c. dry mustard
- 1 c. horseradish
- 1 piece or spoonful alum
- cucumbers
Method
- Mix all ingredients in a crock, except cucumbers.
- Wash cucumbers and add as they are available.
- Put plate over cucumbers in crock.
- Put large rock on plate to hold cucumbers under mixture until cucumbers lighten up.
- They are then ready to eat.
