Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. butter (softened)
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 envelopes unsweetened baking chocolate
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375°.
  • In medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
  • In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla.
  • Beat until creamy.
  • Beat in eggs and baking chocolate.
  • Gradually beat in flour.
  • Stir in chips and nuts.
  • Drop on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Makes about 6 dozen.
