Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 3 pt. warm water
- 3 pkg. dry yeast
- 4 tsp. melted Crisco
Method
- Mix sugar, salt, water, Crisco and yeast.
- Stir in 12 cups flour.
- Knead in about 4 more cups flour.
- Form into ball.
- Brush with melted Crisco.
- Let stand 30 minutes.
- Knead down and let stand 30 more minutes.
- Make into loaves or rolls.
- Let raise 2 hours.
- Bake rolls at 400° for 20 minutes.
- Bread at 350° until brown.
