Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 can cherry pie filling (you can use apple or blueberry)

Method

  • Cream butter; gradually add sugar.
  • Cream until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition. Add lemon juice; then mix in flour gradually and well.
  • Pour into greased jellyroll pan.
  • Mark batter into 24 squares and place some filling in each square.
  • Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
  • Remove. When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar after you've cut into 24 squares.
