Ingredients

  • 1 egg, plus enough water to equal 1 1/3 c.
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 4 c. bread flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 2 tsp. active dry yeast

Method

  • Place ingredients in bread pan in order listed.
  • Use dough setting; press start.
  • When setting is complete, remove dough from bread pan.
  • Place on lightly floured surface.
  • Divide dough into 24 pieces.
  • Shape into balls.
  • Place on greased baking sheet(s) about 1/2-inch apart.
  • Let stand, covered, in a warm draft-free place 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
  • Bake in preheated oven at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Makes 24 rolls.
