Ingredients
- strip cuts of round steak (any round)
- 1/2 c. plus 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. salt
- 1 tsp. salt peter (sodium nitrate)
Method
- Save half of mix and set aside.
- Rub 1/2 on meat.
- Refrigerate 3 days.
- Remove and rub on other half of saved mixture.
- Dry at room temperature for approximately 3 days.
