Ingredients
- 1 dozen large eggs
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise, such as Hellman's
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons horseradish
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce, such as Frank's Hot Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Paprika, to top
Method
- In a large saucepan, cover the eggs with an inch of water.
- Bring the eggs to a boil, then turn off the water and cover for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Drain the eggs and cover with very cold water.
- Carefully peel the eggs.
- Slice lengthwise and separate the yolks, putting them in a bowl, and set the whites aside.
- Mash the yolks and mix with the mayonnaise, mustard, horseradish, hot sauce and salt.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture into the whites.
- Dust with paprika and chill for 30 minutes before serving.
