Ingredients
- 2 gal. beans
- 1 lb. bacon, cut into small pieces and fried
- 3 green peppers, chopped
- 3 onions, chopped
- 1 1/2 bottles thick ketchup (about 42 oz.)
- 4 (4 oz.) cans mushroom stems and pieces
- 1 lb. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. mustard
Method
- Fry bacon.
- Add peppers and onions; saute.
- Add all ingredients to beans.
- Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
- This makes a large quantity.
- Can be made in smaller amounts.
