Ingredients
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 (7 oz.) pkg. Raisinets
- 1 c. Quaker oats, uncooked
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside.
- In large bowl, combine butter, brown sugar and vanilla.
- Beat until creamy.
- Beat in egg. Gradually add flour mixture.
- Stir in Raisinets, oats and nuts. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
- Allow to stand 2 minutes before removing.
- Cool completely.
- Makes 2 dozen.
