Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (7 oz.) pkg. Raisinets
  • 1 c. Quaker oats, uncooked
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375°.
  • In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside.
  • In large bowl, combine butter, brown sugar and vanilla.
  • Beat until creamy.
  • Beat in egg. Gradually add flour mixture.
  • Stir in Raisinets, oats and nuts. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Allow to stand 2 minutes before removing.
  • Cool completely.
  • Makes 2 dozen.
