Ingredients
- 10 to 12 lb. bird
- 2 c. melted butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. sage
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 2 tsp. white sugar
- olive oil
Method
- Mix salt into the butter and inject into bird at points around the breast, in legs and thighs.
- You can get an injector needle at any grocery store or hardware store.
- Use all the butter mixture.
- Now let bird drain for a few minutes before placing in cooker.
- Make sure your oil is 350° at all times throughout the cooking time.
- While the bird is draining, rub olive oil all over the bird and mix spices and rub the bird good with these.
- Rub and rub until you hurt.
- Now, place the turkey on the stand and deep-fry for 45 minutes.
