Ingredients

  • 10 to 12 lb. bird
  • 2 c. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. sage
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 2 tsp. white sugar
  • olive oil

Method

  • Mix salt into the butter and inject into bird at points around the breast, in legs and thighs.
  • You can get an injector needle at any grocery store or hardware store.
  • Use all the butter mixture.
  • Now let bird drain for a few minutes before placing in cooker.
  • Make sure your oil is 350° at all times throughout the cooking time.
  • While the bird is draining, rub olive oil all over the bird and mix spices and rub the bird good with these.
  • Rub and rub until you hurt.
  • Now, place the turkey on the stand and deep-fry for 45 minutes.
