Ingredients
- 3/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. Baker's cocoa
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Method
- Blend melted butter or margarine, sugar and vanilla in a mixing bowl.
- Add eggs and beat well with a spoon.
- Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
- Gradually add to egg mixture until well blended.
- Spread in greased 8-inch square pan.
- Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes or until brownie begins to pull away from edges of pan.
- Cool and cut into squares.
