Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef or pork
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. water
- pastry for 2-crust 8-inch pie
Method
- In saucepan combine all ingredients (except pastry).
- Cover and simmer about 30 minutes.
- Uncover and cook 10 minutes more. Preheat oven to 425°.
- Line pie pan with pastry.
- Pour in mixture and cover with remaining pastry.
- Press edges together.
- Prick top; bake pie 10 minutes.
- Reduce heat to 350° and bake 30 minutes longer.
