Ingredients

  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1/3 cups brown dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cups jim beam maple
  • 2/3 cups molasses
  • 4 teaspoons granulated garlic
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1/2 pound brown sugar
  • 1 - 8 ounce canned diced tomatos drained
  • 1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke (optional)

Method

  • reduce jim beam maple by half in large sauce pan over low heat
  • combine rest of ingredients in sauce pan
  • stir for 1 minute over low heat
  • let simmer for 10 minutes over low heat
  • use a stick blender to blend ingredients smooth in pan
  • let simmer for 10 - 15 minutes
  • add water to achieve desired consistency
