Ingredients
- 1 lb. Italian sausage
- 2 loaves frozen bread dough
- 1 pkg. pepperoni, thin sliced
- 1/2 lb. grated Mozzarella
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 1 finely chopped green pepper
- 1 can chopped mushrooms
Method
- Cook sausage, onion, peppers and mushrooms; drain well.
- Cool completely.
- Thaw dough; let rise.
- Roll out thin.
- Place pepperoni and sausage mixture on dough.
- Top with grated cheese. Roll dough as if for jelly roll.
- Make sure ends are tucked in so filling doesn't spill out.
- Place rolls on lightly greased baking sheet.
- Make small slits to allow steam to escape.
- Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes, until lightly browned.
- Serve warm.
