Ingredients

  • 5 small potatoes or 2 large ones
  • 450 grams frozen peas
  • 50 grams bacon
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 small onion (optional)
  • 1 salt
  • 1 black pepper
  • 1 paprika
  • 1 curry powder
  • 1 rosemary
  • 1 bunch fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 good quality olive oil

Method

  • Peel and chop onions, chop garlic finely.
  • Put in a pot over medium high heat.
  • Add bacon.
  • After about a minute, add peeled and cubed potatoes, peas and enough water to almost submerge the vegetables and bacon.
  • Cover the pot.
  • Cook for 15-20 minutes or until potatoes are cooked, stirring occasionaly.
  • Take off heat.
  • Season with salt, pepper, paprika, curry powder, rosemary, dijon mustard and olive oil.
