Ingredients
- 3/4 tsp. whole cumin seed
- 1 large cucumber, grated coarse
- 1 c. yogurt
- 2 tsp. chopped, seeded hot green chilies (optional)
- 1 tsp. oil
- salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
Method
- In small skillet, cook cumin seed until they start to crackle and are "toasted."
- Remove from heat and shake skillet.
- Combine cucumber, yogurt, cumin seed, chilies, oil, salt and garlic. Chill.
- Makes 2 cups.
