Ingredients

  • 1 can French onion soup
  • 1 can mushroom gravy
  • 1 to 2 lb. stew meat/sirloin, cubed
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 5 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 5 medium potatoes, cubed
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. Jameson whiskey
  • 3 Tbsp. flour

Method

  • Empty cans of French onion soup and mushroom gravy into crock-pot on low setting.
  • Cut meat in cubes and place in crock-pot with 1/4 cup of whiskey and let simmer until meat changes color.
  • Add potatoes, carrots, onion and 1 cup of water. Let simmer 1 hour on low setting.
