- 1 lb. pinto beans
- 1 lg. onion, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper
- 1/4 lb. bacon, diced
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 lb. tomatoes
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. mustard
- 1/2 - 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Method
- Cook beans 1 hour on high in just enough water to cover 2 inches above beans.
- Add remaining ingredients and cook on high for 4 hours.
- Turn on low and cook for 10 hours.
