Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium size jar Ragu (extra chunky)
  • 8 oz. box uncooked noodles
  • 1 large container low-fat cottage cheese
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1/4 c. water

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375°.
  • Brown ground beef and strain and return to pan.
  • Add sauce and water, bring to a boil.
  • Remove from heat. In 9 x 13-inch pan add meat sauce, noodles and cottage cheese. Repeat in layers, ending in layer of cheese.
  • Bake 1 hour.
  • Let stand 15 to 20 minutes before cutting.
  • Makes 10 servings.
