Ingredients

  • 28 slices day old bread (crusts removed)
  • 3 oz. Blue cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cans asparagus spears
  • 1 c. melted butter

Method

  • With rolling pin, flatten bread.
  • Combine Blue cheese, cream cheese and egg.
  • Mix well.
  • Spread on bread crumbs, covering to edges.
  • Place 1 asparagus spread on each slice.
  • Roll tightly. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Place on cookie sheet and freeze.
