Ingredients

  • 1/2 cups Unsalted Butter
  • 10 ounces, weight Semi-sweet Chocolate, Chopped
  • 1-1/2 cup Sugar
  • 4 whole Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 3/4 cups Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 2 cups Rice Krispies

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • 1. Using a double boiler or small sauce pan, melt the butter on medium high heat. Once the butter is melted, quickly add the chocolate and take off the heat. Stir until completely melted and allow to cool at room temperature.
  • 2. In a separate bowl, beat the sugar and eggs, adding one at a time. Combine in the vanilla, flour, and salt. Lastly, pour in the chocolate mixture, Nutella and beat until well incorporated. With a rubber spatula, stir in the rice krispies until completely submerged into the brownie mixture.
  • 3. Prepare a 8x8 square pan by layering the pan with parchment paper and spraying the parchment paper with baking spray or butter. Pour the brownie mixture into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Using a toothpick, stick the brownies in the middle to determine if they are done or not.
  • 4. Once complete, remove the brownies from the pan by lifting them out of the pan with the parchment paper then place on a cooling rack. Once cooled, serve!
