Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1/2 lb. chicken livers
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
Method
- In skillet, fry bacon until crisp.
- Remove from pan and crumble; set aside.
- Cut chicken livers in half.
- In small mixing bowl, combine flour, salt and pepper.
- Dip livers in flour mixture. Turn to coat.
- In skillet, brown livers in bacon drippings over medium heat, turning occasionally, until livers are brown and crispy on the exterior and cooked thoroughly, about 10 minutes. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
- Makes 2 to 3 servings.
