Ingredients
- 1 yeast cake
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten slightly
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. solid shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. warm milk
- 4 c. flour
Method
- First, mix yeast (if you use powdered yeast, mix with 1/4 cup warm water) and 1 tablespoon sugar in a bowl.
- Then add eggs, 1/2 cup sugar, shortening, salt and warm milk.
- Mix in flour.
- (You don't have to knead the dough.)
- Leave bowl in the refrigerator overnight.
