Ingredients
- 3/4 c. butter, softened
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. raspberry or strawberry preserves
- confectioners sugar
Method
- Mix butter and sugar well.
- Add egg yolk; mix well. Stir in flour by hand on lightly floured surface gently.
- Knead dough 2 to 3 minutes until thoroughly combined. Roll into 1-inch balls. Place 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Make indention with thumb in center of each; fill with 1/4 teaspoon preserves.
- Bake at 350° for 13 to 15 minutes. Dust with confectioners sugar.
