Ingredients

  • 1 bunch (about 1 to 1 1/2 lb.) broccoli
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp. curry powder
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter

Method

  • Peel stalks of broccoli and cut in about 1/2-inch pieces.
  • Cut tops into quarters.
  • Steam with salt until crisp.
  • Place in a shallow 2-quart casserole.
  • Sprinkle lemon juice over broccoli. Mix soup, mayonnaise and curry; pour over broccoli.
  • Sprinkle with bread crumbs and drizzle with melted butter.
  • Bake in preheated 350° oven for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
