Ingredients

  • 1 large can corned beef
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 pkg. cooked pasta (elbows, shells)
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 lb. cubed Cheddar cheese
  • 1 large can cream soup (any kind; I use mushroom or chicken)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • In a large bowl, put cooked, drained pasta, flaked corned beef, onion and half of bread crumbs.
  • Toss together.
  • Add cubed cheese and mix with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Pour into casserole dish.
  • Empty can of soup into bowl.
  • Mix with a little water or milk to make smooth.
  • Pour over pasta.
  • Melt butter in pan and add rest of bread crumbs.
  • Cook on low until toasted.
  • Sprinkle over casserole.
  • Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.
