Ingredients
- 2 small boxes Jiffy cornbread mix
- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground meat or turkey meat
- 2 cans creamed corn
- 1 or 1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
Method
- Brown meat
- and
- onions;
- add salt and pepper to taste. Prepare cornbread
- mix
- as per instructions on box.
- Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch cake.
- On top of cornbread mixture, spread cooked meat, then two cans of creamed corn.
- Cover evenly with grated cheese.
- Bake
- at
- 375° for 30 minutes, then cover with foil and cook another 15 minutes so cheese does not burn.
