Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. butter or margarine
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 1/3 c. Hershey's cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Method

  • Cream butter and sugar in mixing bowl.
  • Blend in syrup and vanilla.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg. Combine flour, salt and cocoa in another bowl.
  • Gradually add to creamed mixture.
  • Stir in nuts.
  • Pour into a greased 9 x 9 x 3/4-inch pan.
  • Bake at 350° until brownies begin to pull away from the edge of the pan.
  • Delicious served warm.
