Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. mostaccioli noodles
  • 1 c. salad oil
  • 1 c. white vinegar
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. Accent
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 (4 oz.) jar pimentos
  • 1 thinly sliced cucumber (do not peel)
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes

Method

  • Cook mostaccioli noodles as directed on package.
  • Drain noodles and set aside.
  • Mix together and heat salad oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, Accent, pepper, garlic powder and prepared mustard. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly and remove from heat. Pour mixture over noodles and mix together.
  • Chop onion and pimentos and add to noodles.
  • Slice cucumber and add to noodles. Add parsley flakes to noodles.
  • Mix well, cover and refrigerate 48 hours.
  • Toss several times to keep noodles from sticking together.
