Ingredients

  • 4 c. broccoli flowerets
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • ground black pepper

Method

  • Place steamer rack in bottom of saucepan.
  • Add enough water to come almost to bottom of rack.
  • Place over medium heat.
  • When water boils add broccoli; cover saucepan.
  • Cook 8 to 10 minutes until broccoli is tender-crisp.
  • Combine all but Parmesan cheese and pepper.
  • Mix well.
  • Place cooked broccoli in serving bowl. Drizzle with garlic mixture.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
