Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup loose leaf chai tea
  • 5 1/4 cups water
  • milk optional for serving
  • simple syrup optional for serving

Method

  • Follow the directions to put the KitchenAid(R) Cold Brew Coffee Maker together. Add the loose leaf chai to the steeper.
  • Using a circular motion, pour 5 1/4 cups of water over the chai.
  • Place the lid on the Cold Brew Coffee Maker.
  • Place the Cold Brew Coffee Maker in the refrigerator and allow it to steep for four to twelve hours before serving. When you're finished brewing, remove the steeper and allow the remaining liquid to drain into the brew jar.
  • To serve, use one part tea concentrate to seven parts water. Adjust to your preferences.
  • Serve with your choice of milk, cream, condensed milk, simple syrup, etc.
