Ingredients
- 4 c. sugar
- 4 c. water
- 1/4 c. instant coffee
- 1 vanilla bean or 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 qt. vodka
Method
- Bring water and sugar to a rolling boil and boil for 20 minutes.
- Add coffee to 1 cup of boiling water and mix into the sugar water.
- Add the vanilla and vodka; cool.
- Place in a bottle or container and let sit for 1 month, turning frequently.
- The liqueur needs to set for at least 1 month; more time just makes it better.
