Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. cream or 3/4 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil or melted butter

Method

  • Beat all together (by hand or blender) until smooth and well blended.
  • Pour small amount into hot oiled pan.
  • Shake pan (or tilt) quickly so that batter covers pan thinly and evenly (large burner at "7").
  • Cook until golden brown on both sides.
  • Serve while hot, rolled up into tight log (buttered or jellied).
  • These are very good if you add just a touch of cinnamon and nutmeg to batter.
