Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. cold coffee
  • 2 c. whipping cream

Method

  • In heavy saucepan, combine sugar and milk.
  • Bring to a boil, stirring, until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat.
  • Let stand until cool. Combine milk mixture, coffee, vanilla and 1 cup whipping cream. Pour mixture into loaf pan. Freeze until slush, about 1 to 2 hours.
  • Beat cream until stiff. Stir slush mixture. Spoon into dessert dishes. Top with whipped cream.
  • Makes 12 (1/2 cup) servings.
