Ingredients
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1/3 c. margarine
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Method
- In medium saucepan, combine sugar, milk, egg yolks and margarine.
- Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in coconut, pecans and vanilla. Cool 15 minutes and spread on top layers of German chocolate cake.
