Ingredients
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. quick cooking oatmeal
- 1 c. coconut
- 1/2 c. nuts (chopped)
Method
- Mix first 4 ingredients.
- Mix margarine, sugars, egg and vanilla.
- Add oatmeal, coconut, nuts and dry ingredients.
- Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375° for 9 to 12 minutes.
- Do not over bake!
- Makes 4 dozen.
