Ingredients
- 1 stick butter (no substitute)
- 1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. red cayenne pepper
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- pecan halves
Method
- Cream butter; add shredded cheese, then salt, pepper and flour. Roll into small balls and press pecans on each to flatten.
- Place on cookie sheet.
- Bake 15 minutes at 350°.
- Yields 40 to 45 biscuits.
