Ingredients

  • cockles
  • olive oil as needed
  • 1 head garlic cloves unpeeled, crushed
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 1 bunch coriander
  • salt to taste

Method

  • Cover the bottom of a frying pan or a pot (depends on quantity of cockels) with olive oil.
  • Turn on the heat, and add the garlic cloves and cockles.
  • Sprinkle with the lemon juice and cilantro.
  • Season with salt and cover the pot.
  • Cook for 2 or 3 minutes, uncover and mix the cockles and the sauce.
  • When the cockles open, remove from heat and serve.
