Ingredients
- 1 envelope chicken noodle soup mix
- 2 1/2 c. boiling water
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- dash of pepper
- 1 can tuna, drained
- 2 c. canned peas, drained
- 1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs
Method
- Preheat oven to 450°.
- In a small saucepan, combine soup mix and water.
- Heat to boiling.
- In a medium saucepan, over low heat, melt butter; blend in flour and pepper.
- Gradually stir in hot soup and cook until thickened.
- Add tuna and fold in peas.
- Turn into a greased 1 1/2-quart dish.
- Top with buttered bread crumbs. Bake 15 minutes until heated through.
