- 1 large chopped green pepper
- 1 large chopped onion
- 1 stick margarine
- 3 medium potatoes, peeled and diced small
- 1 bottle clam juice
- 1 can chopped clams
- 1 to 1 1/2 tsp. seafood seasoning
- salt to taste
- 1 1/2 oz. potato flakes
- milk
- fresh ground pepper to taste
Method
- Cook small diced potatoes in small amount of water until tender.
- Saute green pepper and onion in stick of margarine. Drain most of water from potatoes.
- Add bottle of clam juice and juice of can of clams, reserving clams for later.
- Cook over medium heat.
- Add sauteed onion and potato flakes.
- Add milk to desired thickness; heat thoroughly.
- Add clams just before serving.
