Ingredients

  • 1 large chopped green pepper
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 3 medium potatoes, peeled and diced small
  • 1 bottle clam juice
  • 1 can chopped clams
  • 1 to 1 1/2 tsp. seafood seasoning
  • salt to taste
  • 1 1/2 oz. potato flakes
  • milk
  • fresh ground pepper to taste

Method

  • Cook small diced potatoes in small amount of water until tender.
  • Saute green pepper and onion in stick of margarine. Drain most of water from potatoes.
  • Add bottle of clam juice and juice of can of clams, reserving clams for later.
  • Cook over medium heat.
  • Add sauteed onion and potato flakes.
  • Add milk to desired thickness; heat thoroughly.
  • Add clams just before serving.
