Ingredients

  • 2 sheepherder's bread, uncut
  • 16 oz. cream cheese
  • 3 (6 1/2 oz.) cans minced clams (drain, but save juice of 1 can)
  • 6 drops Tabasco
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. grated onion

Method

  • Preheat oven to 225°.
  • Carve out center of one bread, saving top.
  • Cut the other into bite size pieces.
  • Combine remaining ingredients over low heat until smooth.
  • Pour into hollowed bread and cover. Wrap in foil and bake for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Use bite size pieces of bread for dipping.
