Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. red cinnamon candies
  • 1 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1 pkg. lemon jello
  • 1 c. applesauce
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Method

  • Dissolve candies in boiling water; add gelatin, stirring until dissolved.
  • Chill until partially set.
  • Fold in applesauce.
  • Turn into a 10 x 6 x 2-inch dish and chill until firm.
  • Cream remaining ingredients together and spread over gelatin mixture.
  • Chill. Yield:
  • 8 servings.
