Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
- dash of pepper
- 1 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 can tomato soup
- 2 (1 lb.) cans kidney beans
- 1 small can mushrooms
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. vinegar
Method
- Cook the beef, onion and seasonings until meat is browned. Add remaining ingredients.
- Cover and cook over low heat for 30 minutes.
- (My kids love this over spaghetti.
- We top it with some shredded Cheddar cheese.
