Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 12 teaspoons baking powder
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 12 teaspoon ginger
  • 14 teaspoon white pepper (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 12 cup margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Method

  • Sift together dry ingredients in a small bowl.
  • In a large bowl, cream margarine and sugar until fluffy.
  • Beat in egg.
  • Stir in flour mix and milk.
  • Blend thoroughly.
  • Chill 1 hour.
  • On lightly floured board, roll out dough to 1/4 thickness.
  • Bake until lightly browned at edges.
  • Decorate with frosting.
