Ingredients
- 1 c. softened butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 6 lg. eggs
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
Method
- Cream butter, eggs & sugar until creamy.
- Combine flour, baking soda and cocoa, add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
- Mix at low speed after each addition.
- Stir in vanilla.
- Spoon batter into greased tube pan.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
