Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sour cream mixed into 1 c. boiling water
Method
- Mix all ingredients together, adding water and sour cream last.
- Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls, making halves of cookie.
- After baked, take off pan; cool on wax paper. Continue baking until all dough is used.
- Match 2 halves, putting icing between.
