Ingredients
- 2/3 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/3 c. corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 4 c. quick cooking oatmeal
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 2/3 c. chunky peanut butter
- 4 (1.4 oz.) Heath candy bars, crushed or 2/3 c. chopped nuts
Method
- In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar. Add corn syrup and vanilla; beat well. Stir in oatmeal; press into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack.
