Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 heaping Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 egg
- 5 Tbsp. cream
- dash of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 stick butter
Method
- Stir together sugar and cocoa in iron skillet.
- Add egg, cream and salt.
- Mix well and cook over medium heat to soft ball stage. Pour into bowl, add vanilla and butter.
- Beat until smooth and cool enough to spread on cake.
